Ingredients

  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 1 cup cucumber slices
  • 1 cup carrot sticks
  • 1 cup celery sticks
  • 1 cup green grapes
  • 1 cup strawberries halved
  • 200 g cheddar cheese cubed
  • 200 g mozzarella cheese balls
  • 150 g sliced salami
  • 150 g sliced turkey breast
  • 1 cup mixed olives
  • 1 cup tortilla chips
  • 1 cup crackers
  • 1 cup pretzel twists
  • 1 cup hummus
  • 1 cup ranch dip
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Method

  1. Wash and thoroughly dry all fruits and vegetables to prevent excess moisture on the platter.
  2. Slice the cucumber into rounds and cut the strawberries in half.
  3. Cut the cheddar cheese into bite-sized cubes for easy serving.
  4. Place the hummus and ranch dip into small serving bowls.
  5. Position the dip bowls on the platter first to create anchor points for arranging the ingredients.
  6. Arrange the sliced meats in loose folds around the bowls to create visual height and texture.
  7. Add the cheese cubes and mozzarella balls in separate sections near the meats.
  8. Fill open spaces with grapes, strawberries, cherry tomatoes, cucumber slices, carrot sticks, and celery sticks.
  9. Scatter olives into small clusters throughout the platter for contrast and color.
  10. Add crackers, pretzels, and tortilla chips around the outer edges for easy grabbing.
  11. Sprinkle fresh parsley over the platter for a fresh, vibrant finish.
  12. Drizzle a small amount of olive oil over the vegetables to enhance their shine and flavor.
  13. Chill the platter for 15 to 20 minutes before serving to keep everything fresh and crisp.
