Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups 225 g fresh or frozen strawberries
  • 1 ripe banana fresh or frozen
  • 1/2 cup 120 ml plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup 240 ml milk of choice (dairy or plant-based)
  • 1 tbsp 21 g honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp 2 ml pure vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Wash and hull the strawberries, trimming off stems and any bruised bits for the freshest flavor.
  2. Peel the banana and break it into chunks; freezing ahead of time adds extra chill and thickness.
  3. Pour the milk into the base of your blender first to help everything blend smoothly.
  4. Add the Greek yogurt on top of the milk for extra creaminess without overpowering sweetness.
  5. Toss in the strawberries and banana so they’re evenly layered for efficient blending.
  6. Add the honey or maple syrup if you want a touch of natural sweetness.
  7. Finally, drop in the vanilla extract to elevate the flavor profile with aromatic warmth.
  8. Secure your blender lid and pulse on low before increasing to high speed until the mixture looks velvety and uniform.
  9. Check the texture and add a splash more milk if it seems too thick, blending again briefly.
  10. Pour into tall glasses, noticing the lush pink hue and fragrant fruit aroma.
  11. Garnish with a small strawberry slice or banana wheel if desired, and serve immediately cold.
