Ingredients

  • 4 large ripe peaches sliced
  • 1 ½ cups fresh lemon juice
  • 1 ¼ cups granulated sugar
  • 8 cups cold water
  • 2 tbsp fresh mint leaves
  • 2 cups ice cubes
  • 1 lemon thinly sliced
  • 1 peach thinly sliced for garnish

Method

  1. Wash the peaches thoroughly, remove the pits, and slice the fruit into chunks.
  2. Squeeze fresh lemons until you have the required amount of juice and set aside.
  3. Add the peach slices, mint leaves, and 1 cup of water to a blender.
  4. Blend until completely smooth and fragrant with no large fruit pieces remaining.
  5. Pour the peach mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a large pitcher if you prefer a smoother lemonade.
  6. Add the fresh lemon juice and granulated sugar to the pitcher.
  7. Stir vigorously until the sugar fully dissolves and the mixture looks glossy.
  8. Pour in the remaining cold water and mix until evenly combined.
  9. Taste and adjust sweetness with additional sugar if desired.
  10. Add ice cubes, lemon slices, and peach slices to the pitcher.
  11. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
  12. Stir before serving and pour into chilled glasses.
  13. Garnish each glass with extra peach slices and fresh mint for a refreshing finish.
