  • 3 cups watermelon cut into 2.5 cm cubes
  • 1 cup feta cheese cut into small cubes
  • 20 fresh mint leaves
  • 2 tbsp balsamic glaze
  • 12 wooden skewers or cocktail sticks

Method

  1. Cut the watermelon into even bite-sized cubes, ensuring they hold their shape without crumbling.
  2. Slice the feta cheese into similar-sized cubes for a balanced look and texture.
  3. Gently rinse and pat dry the mint leaves to keep them fresh and vibrant.
  4. Take a skewer and thread one cube of watermelon onto it.
  5. Add a mint leaf, folding it slightly for a neat fit.
  6. Slide on a cube of feta cheese, followed by another mint leaf if desired.
  7. Finish with another cube of watermelon to secure the layers.
  8. Repeat the process until all ingredients are used.
  9. Arrange the skewers neatly on a serving platter.
  10. Lightly drizzle balsamic glaze over the top just before serving for a glossy finish and tangy aroma.
