Creamy Spinach Mango Pineapple Smoothie

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups packed fresh baby spinach
  • 1 small very ripe banana
  • ½ cup frozen mango chunks
  • ½ cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 cup unsweetened plain almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds

Method
 

  1. Rinse the baby spinach under cold water to remove any grit, then pat dry.
  2. Peel the ripe banana and break it into chunks for easier blending.
  3. Place the almond milk into the blender first to help with a smooth blend.
  4. Add the spinach, banana pieces, frozen mango and frozen pineapple on top of the liquid.
  5. Sprinkle the tablespoon of chia seeds over the top to boost fiber and thickness.
  6. Secure the lid and blend on high until the mixture is completely smooth and evenly green.
  7. Stop and scrape down the sides with a spatula if needed, then blend again for a few seconds.
  8. Pour the smoothie into a tall glass; it should be thick, creamy and frost-cold.
  9. Sip immediately for the best texture and flavor
