Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 medium frozen banana
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tsp fresh grated ginger
  • 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 –5 ice cubes

Method
 

  1. Add almond milk, lemon juice, vanilla extract, and Greek yogurt to the blender first for easier blending.
  2. Add the frozen blueberries, frozen banana, chia seeds, grated ginger, turmeric, honey, and lemon zest.
  3. Toss in the ice cubes to create a thick and frosty texture.
  4. Blend on high speed until the smoothie becomes creamy and completely smooth with no visible fruit pieces remaining.
  5. Pause and scrape down the sides if needed to fully blend the berries and chia seeds.
  6. Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness with extra honey or brighten the flavor with another squeeze of lemon juice if desired.
  7. Pour into chilled glasses while the smoothie is still icy cold and thick.
  8. Garnish with extra blueberries, lemon zest, or chia seeds for a fresh and vibrant finish.
  9. Serve immediately for the best flavor and texture
