Ingredients

  • 120 g pitted Medjool dates
  • 15 –45 ml warm water
  • 200 g granola
  • 250 g natural peanut butter

Method

  1. Line an 8-inch square pan with parchment paper, leaving extra paper hanging over the edges for easy removal
  2. Add the pitted dates to a food processor and blend until they begin to break down into a sticky mixture
  3. Pour in warm water gradually while blending until a smooth, thick paste forms with no visible chunks
  4. Add the granola and peanut butter to the processor and pulse until the mixture looks evenly combined and slightly crumbly yet sticky
  5. Transfer the mixture into the prepared pan and press it firmly into an even layer, smoothing the top with the back of a spoon
  6. Place the pan in the refrigerator and chill until the mixture becomes firm and holds its shape when pressed
  7. Lift the slab out using the parchment paper and slice into evenly sized bars with a sharp knife
