Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 1/2 cup almonds
  • 6 Medjool dates
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1/8 tsp salt

Method
 

  1. Add walnuts and almonds to a food processor and pulse until finely chopped with a crumb-like texture
  2. Toss in the dates and process again until the mixture starts to clump together
  3. Add shredded coconut, cocoa powder, maple syrup, water, and salt, then blend until a thick, sticky dough forms
  4. Stop and scrape down the sides to ensure everything is evenly combined and smooth
  5. Scoop small portions of the mixture and roll between your palms until round and compact
  6. Place each ball onto a tray, ensuring they hold their shape and feel slightly firm
  7. Transfer to the refrigerator and chill until set, developing a dense, fudgy consistency
