Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ cups frozen blueberries
  • 1 medium apple cored and chopped
  • ¾ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup ice cubes

Method
 

  1. Wash and core the apple, then chop it into small chunks for easier blending.
  2. Add the frozen blueberries, chopped apple, Greek yogurt, and rolled oats to the blender.
  3. Pour in the almond milk and add the maple syrup, cinnamon, and vanilla extract.
  4. Blend on high speed until the mixture becomes thick, creamy, and evenly colored.
  5. Add the ice cubes and blend again until the smoothie looks frosty and smooth.
  6. Pause the blender and scrape down the sides if any fruit pieces remain.
  7. Taste the smoothie and add a little extra maple syrup if you prefer a sweeter flavor.
  8. Pour into chilled glasses and serve immediately while cold and creamy.
