Ingredients
Method
- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F for a few minutes while preparing the filling.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Add the diced onion and cook until soft and lightly golden with a sweet aroma.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet and break it apart with a spatula while cooking.
- Season the beef with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Cook the beef until browned and fully cooked with no pink remaining, then drain excess grease if needed.
- Stir ketchup, mayonnaise, and mustard together in a small bowl until smooth and creamy.
- Warm the tortillas for a few seconds in the microwave so they become soft and flexible.
- Spread a spoonful of burger sauce across the center of each tortilla.
- Add a layer of cooked beef followed by shredded cheese, diced pickles, diced onion, and a slice of cheddar cheese.
- Fold the sides inward and roll tightly like a burrito to keep the filling secure.
- Brush the outside of each wrap lightly with melted butter for extra crispness and color.
- Arrange the wraps seam-side down in the air fryer basket without overcrowding.
- Air fry for 5–7 minutes until the tortillas turn golden brown and crispy.
- Carefully flip the wraps halfway through cooking for even browning on both sides.
- Remove from the air fryer once the cheese is melted and the tortillas are crunchy.
- Let the wraps cool slightly before slicing in half and serving warm.
