Ingredients
  

  • 120 g cream cheese softened
  • 15 ml plain Greek yogurt
  • 10 g fresh chives finely chopped
  • 10 g fresh dill finely chopped
  • 1 g ground black pepper
  • 2 slices whole-grain bread about 2 cm thick
  • 2 small tomatoes about 150 g, sliced
  • 1 g salt
  • 15 ml extra-virgin olive oil

Method
 

  1. Combine the softened cream cheese and Greek yogurt in a bowl and mix until smooth and creamy
  2. Add the chopped chives, dill, and black pepper, stirring until evenly distributed and fragrant
  3. Toast the bread slices until golden brown and crisp on the edges while still slightly tender inside
  4. Spread a generous layer of the herbed cream cheese mixture over each slice while the toast is still warm
  5. Arrange tomato slices evenly on top, slightly overlapping for full coverage
  6. Sprinkle a pinch of salt over the tomatoes to enhance their natural sweetness
  7. Drizzle olive oil lightly over the top for added richness and shine
  8. Finish with extra herbs or a crack of black pepper before serving immediately
