Ingredients
  

  • 200 g shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 200 g cooked noodles egg noodles or rice noodles
  • 1 cup 150 g sliced bell peppers
  • 1 cup 100 g shredded cabbage or bok choy
  • 2 tbsp 30 ml teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tbsp 15 ml soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp 15 ml sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp 5 g fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp 15 ml vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp 20 g chopped green onions
  • 1 tsp 5 g sesame seeds

Method
 

  1. Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat until hot, then add vegetable oil and swirl to coat
  2. Add shrimp and cook briefly until they turn pink and slightly firm, then remove and set aside
  3. In the same pan, add garlic and ginger, stirring quickly until fragrant and lightly golden
  4. Toss in bell peppers and cabbage, stir-frying until they are crisp-tender with slight charred edges
  5. Add cooked noodles, separating them gently as they warm and absorb the flavors
  6. Pour in teriyaki sauce and soy sauce, tossing everything until evenly coated and glossy
  7. Return shrimp to the pan and stir until heated through and well combined
  8. Drizzle sesame oil over the mixture for a nutty aroma and finish
  9. Sprinkle green onions and sesame seeds on top just before serving
