Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup 240 ml fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup 200 g granulated sugar
  • 1 cup 240 ml water for syrup
  • 5 cups 1.2 L cold water
  • 2 cups 300 g ice cubes
  • 4 slices fresh lemon for garnish

Method
 

  1. Juice the lemons until you have 1 cup of fresh lemon juice, removing any seeds.
  2. Pour 1 cup water and the sugar into a small saucepan and place over medium heat.
  3. Stir continuously until the sugar fully dissolves and the liquid becomes clear.
  4. Remove the syrup from the heat and allow it to cool for several minutes.
  5. Pour the fresh lemon juice into a large pitcher.
  6. Add the cooled syrup and stir until combined.
  7. Pour in the cold water and mix thoroughly.
  8. Taste and adjust with additional water if you prefer a lighter lemonade.
  9. Add ice cubes and stir gently.
  10. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes for the best flavor.
  11. Garnish with lemon slices before serving.
  12. Serve chilled and enjoy the refreshing citrus aroma.
