Ingredients

  • 12 Hawaiian rolls
  • 2 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3/4 cup pizza sauce
  • 20 slices pepperoni
  • 1/3 cup butter melted
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Keep the rolls connected and carefully slice them horizontally into one top slab and one bottom slab.
  3. Place the bottom half of the rolls into the prepared baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded mozzarella evenly over the bread.
  5. Spread the pizza sauce across the cheese layer, reaching close to the edges.
  6. Arrange the pepperoni slices evenly over the sauce so each slider gets plenty of filling.
  7. Scatter the remaining mozzarella cheese over the pepperoni.
  8. Place the top half of the rolls over the cheese layer.
  9. Stir the melted butter, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning together in a small bowl.
  10. Brush the seasoned butter generously over the tops of the rolls.
  11. Cover the dish loosely with aluminum foil.
  12. Bake until the cheese is fully melted and the sliders are heated through.
  13. Remove the foil and continue baking until the tops become lightly golden and slightly crisp.
  14. Let the sliders rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  15. Cut along the roll seams and serve while the cheese is hot and stretchy.
