Ingredients
Method
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels so the glaze sticks evenly and the fish roasts properly.
- In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
- Arrange the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet with space between each piece.
- Spoon or brush half of the maple glaze over the salmon, coating the tops generously.
- Bake the salmon for 10 minutes until the edges begin turning lightly golden and the glaze starts bubbling.
- Remove the tray briefly and brush the remaining glaze over the fillets for extra flavor and shine.
- Return the salmon to the oven and bake for another 4–6 minutes until the fish flakes easily with a fork and the glaze looks glossy and caramelized.
- Sprinkle chopped parsley and sesame seeds over the salmon while it is still warm.
- Let the salmon rest for 2 minutes before serving so the juices settle and the glaze thickens slightly.
