Ingredients
  

  • 4 oz goat cheese softened
  • 1/2 tsp orange zest
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 12 slices baguette about 1/2-inch thick
  • 1 cup fresh cherries pitted and halved
  • 1/4 cup pistachios chopped
  • 2 tbsp honey

Method
 

  1. Toast the baguette slices in a preheated oven until golden and crisp, about 5–7 minutes, until edges are lightly browned and fragrant
  2. In a small bowl, mix the softened goat cheese with orange zest, salt, and black pepper until smooth and creamy
  3. Spread a generous layer of the goat cheese mixture onto each warm toast slice
  4. Top each crostini with a few pieces of fresh cherries, ensuring even distribution for balanced flavor
  5. Sprinkle chopped pistachios over the cherries for added crunch and nutty aroma
  6. Drizzle honey lightly over each piece, allowing it to glisten and soak slightly into the toppings
  7. Arrange on a serving platter and serve immediately while the bread is still crisp
