Easy Cheesy Pizza Roll-Ups Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 12 slices mozzarella cheese
  • 36 slices mini pepperoni
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 120 ml marinara sauce
  • 1 tbsp fresh basil finely chopped

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the mozzarella slices in a single layer, leaving a little space between each slice.
  3. Bake the cheese for about 5–7 minutes until the edges become lightly golden and the centers are melted.
  4. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and allow the cheese to cool for 1–2 minutes until it is still warm but easy to handle.
  5. Sprinkle each cheese slice with Italian seasoning and a small amount of chopped basil.
  6. Place 3 mini pepperoni slices near one edge of each cheese round.
  7. Carefully roll each cheese slice around the pepperoni filling while still pliable.
  8. Transfer the rolled pieces to a cooling rack and allow them to firm slightly.
  9. Warm the marinara sauce until heated through and fragrant.
  10. Serve the pizza roll-ups warm with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
