Ingredients
Method
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the noodles until just tender with a slight bite.
- Reserve a few tablespoons of noodle water before draining the noodles completely.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the butter along with the neutral cooking oil.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook gently until fragrant, soft, and lightly golden without letting it burn.
- Add the soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, and black pepper to the skillet.
- Stir the sauce continuously until glossy and fully combined with the butter.
- Add the drained noodles directly into the skillet while the sauce is hot.
- Toss the noodles thoroughly so every strand becomes evenly coated in the garlic sauce.
- Pour in a splash of reserved noodle water if the noodles seem dry or sticky.
- Sprinkle in the parmesan cheese and continue tossing until melted and silky.
- Cook for another minute until the noodles look glossy and smell deeply savory.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds before serving warm.
