Ingredients
  

  • 2 large cucumbers about 600 g, sliced into ½-inch rounds
  • 200 g cream cheese softened
  • 30 ml mayonnaise
  • 30 ml sour cream
  • 15 ml lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill finely chopped
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Slice the cucumbers into even rounds about ½ inch thick for a sturdy base
  2. Lay the slices on a paper towel and gently pat dry to remove excess moisture
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream until smooth and fluffy
  4. Add lemon juice, dill, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper, then mix until well blended and aromatic
  5. Transfer the creamy mixture into a piping bag or zip-top bag with the corner snipped
  6. Arrange cucumber slices on a serving platter in a single layer
  7. Pipe a generous swirl of the cream cheese mixture onto each slice
  8. Garnish with extra dill or a light sprinkle of black pepper for a fresh finish
  9. Serve immediately or chill briefly until ready to serve
