Method
- Wash the limes thoroughly to remove any wax or residue from the peel.
- Cut each lime into quarters and remove the tough white center if desired for a smoother flavor.
- Add the lime pieces, cold water, sweetened condensed milk, sugar, and salt to a blender.
- Blend for about 10–15 seconds until the liquid looks frothy and pale green but the lime peel is not completely pulverized.
- Place a fine mesh strainer over a large pitcher and carefully pour the mixture through it.
- Press gently with a spoon to extract the flavorful liquid while leaving behind the bitter pulp and peel pieces.
- Fill serving glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled limeade over the ice immediately.
- Garnish with thin lime slices if desired and serve while cold and frothy.
