Ingredients
  

  • 1 large ripe avocado about 200 g, peeled and pitted
  • 120 ml plain yogurt ½ cup, preferably unsweetened
  • 20 g fresh cilantro leaves ⅓ cup packed
  • 30 g finely chopped onion 2 tbsp
  • 15 ml fresh lime juice 1 tbsp
  • 1 g salt ¼ tsp
  • 1 g black pepper ¼ tsp
  • 5 ml hot sauce 1 tsp, optional

Method
 

  1. Scoop the avocado flesh into a blender or food processor until soft and slightly mashed
  2. Add yogurt, cilantro, chopped onion, and fresh lime juice to the mixture
  3. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed
  4. Sprinkle in salt and black pepper, then blend briefly to combine
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning, adding hot sauce if you prefer a subtle kick
  6. Transfer to a bowl and smooth the surface for a clean, glossy finish
  7. Serve immediately or chill briefly for a slightly thicker texture
