Ingredients
  

  • 1 medium ripe banana about 120 g
  • 1 cup 240 ml unsweetened plant-based milk (such as soy or almond)
  • ¼ cup 60 g plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp 16 g almond butter
  • tbsp 8 g unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp 2 ml vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp 5 ml honey or maple syrup
  • ½ cup 120 ml ice cubes

Method
 

  1. Add the banana, milk, and yogurt into a blender, ensuring the liquid goes in first for smoother blending
  2. Spoon in the almond butter and cocoa powder, letting them sit on top of the liquid base
  3. Pour in the vanilla extract and drizzle the sweetener over the ingredients
  4. Add ice cubes to create a chilled, thick consistency
  5. Blend on high speed until the mixture becomes completely smooth and creamy with no visible chunks
  6. Pause and scrape down the sides if needed, then blend again until silky and uniform
  7. Pour into a glass and serve immediately while cold and frothy
