Ingredients
  

  • 2 whole-grain waffles about 70–80 g each
  • 2 tbsp natural peanut butter 32 g
  • 1/2 cup mixed fresh berries 75 g
  • 1 tsp honey 5 ml
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon optional, 1 g

Method
 

  1. Toast the waffles until they are golden brown and slightly crisp on the edges while still soft inside
  2. Spread peanut butter evenly over one side of each warm waffle so it melts slightly into the surface
  3. Gently mash a portion of the berries with a fork to release their juices while keeping some whole for texture
  4. Layer the berries over one waffle, distributing them evenly for balanced bites
  5. Drizzle honey lightly over the berries to enhance their natural sweetness
  6. Sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon if using, adding a warm aromatic note
  7. Place the second waffle on top and press gently to form a sandwich
  8. Slice in half if desired and serve immediately while warm
